The exact totals here at DVD Peak are 3932 DVD titles with 18,016 scenes. Altogether, that's over 6000 hours of smut. None of the materials here are dated, and it seems pretty clear that updates are no longer being made to the site.

The materials here come from a myriad of different studios. Some of these are older titles that were originally released on VHS, and the production company that originally released it may not even be around any longer. A few of the studios here are among the more popular currently producing smut, such as Anarchy Films. For the most part, however, this is a collection based on older materials.

DVD Peak divides its titles into over 60 different categories including all of the basics you would expect such as amateur, BDSM, blow jobs, big tits, large cocks, hardcore, MILFs, toys, and masturbation, but also some more specialized categories such as nurse and doctor fetish, voyeur, blow job only, college coed, shaving, uniforms, and titty fucking. The list goes on and on, and the collection can also be searched using a keyword search box. I had pretty good luck using the keyword search box and it seemed to return a good number of relevant results. You can also use the keyword search box to search by porn star name which is particularly helpful since the drop-down menu provided for searching for specific stars doesn't seem to list all of the available actors and actresses that appear here. Drop-down menus are also provided to narrow the collection by studio or running time. You can rate seen on a five-star scale, and the site has sections for the most frequently viewed videos and the highest rated flicks as determined by members.

Each DVD title is available to stream one scene at a time. You also have the option to divide each scene into clips, but there is no option to view a full-length title in a single stream. The site offers a favorite theme tool that allows you to easily save scenes for later viewing.

DVD Peak is a streaming only site. Each clip or scene is offered in your choice of three different quality levels referred to as DSL, broadband, and HD. Unfortunately, the so-called HD flicks here are actually nowhere near high definition quality at 800x600 pixels, 2200 kbps. Some of these scenes look okay at their normal size while others can be quite grainy and washed out, and overall I would say that the quality level here is well below average, particularly when compared to other DVD streaming sites.

Special Notes

As I mentioned, the videos here are offered for streaming only with no download options available. Unfortunately, potential members aren't informed of this before joining up. In fact, the tour pages pay a good bit of attention to downloadable videos and promise "unlimited downloads." I'm not sure if this site ever offered downloads in the past, but they definitely need to clear up this confusion as things are quite misleading currently.
